Cartridge World Return Policy
At Cartridge World, customer satisfaction is our priority. We are committed to providing a transparent and fair return process. Please review the following guidelines before initiating a return or exchange.
1. How to Return or Exchange
Please contact us at customerservice@cartridgeworldusa.com with your order number and details of the issue before returning any product.
- Products must be returned in their original packaging (if possible) and be in resellable condition for an exchange or store credit.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a product defect or an error on our part.
- Contact our team within 30 days of your purchase date to request a Return Authorization (RA) number.

2. Return Authorization Required
All product returns must be pre-approved with a valid Return Authorization (RA) number.
- Returns without an RA number will be refused.
- Be ready to provide your order or invoice number, product details, and return reason.
- RA numbers are valid for 10 days once issued.
3. Return Conditions
- Products must be returned in original sealed packaging and be in resalable condition (excluding defective returns).
- Pack all items in a protective outer box with sufficient inner packaging.
- Do not write directly on the product packaging.
- Clearly write the RA number on the outer carton only.
- If returning multiple boxes, label each box (e.g., “1 of 2”, “2 of 2”).
4. Return Shipping and Charges
- Customer pays return shipping, unless the return is due to a defect or Cartridge World error.
- Returns may be subject to:
- A 20% restocking fee, or
- A $10 processing fee for items under $50 in value.
5. Defective Products
Cartridge World Branded Compatibles
We proudly back our branded compatible cartridges with a 1-year satisfaction guarantee.
- Contact us for a refund or replacement if you're unsatisfied.
- Items must be returned in a condition suitable for quality testing.
- Fully used or untestable cartridges are not eligible for return.
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Products
While we can assist with eligible defective OEM returns within 30 days, customers are encouraged to contact the manufacturer directly.

6. Transit Damage and Refused Deliveries
- All shipments are F.O.B. our distribution center — ownership and risk transfer upon shipping.
- Note any damage or shortage on the Bill of Lading at delivery and file claims with the carrier.

- A 20% restocking fee
- Recovery of shipping costs
7. Non-Defective Product Returns
- All non-defective product returns require prior approval.
- Each request is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Kyocera products must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
